You must comply with the following requirements. These are in place for safety and are strictly enforced.
Bringing your own gazebo
- You must use a commercial-grade pop-up gazebo designed for market use.
- Domestic or lightweight gazebos are not permitted.
- Weights are required on every leg of your gazebo.
- Minimum weight requirements may vary by event and location and must be followed.
- Gazebos that do not meet these standards will not be allowed to trade, and no refund will be issued.
- You are responsible for the safe erection, stability, and condition of your gazebo throughout the event.
Hiring a gazebo from The HandCrafted Market
- Nothing may be attached to the gazebo frame or canopy. This includes tape, hooks, clips, cable ties, or fixings of any kind.
- You must inspect your allocated gazebo on arrival and report any damage to market management before trading starts.
- Any damage identified after the event will be charged to the stallholder(s) allocated that gazebo. Charges may include full repair or replacement costs.
On-the-day checks
- Market management may carry out safety checks at any time.
- If your gazebo or weights are deemed unsafe, you may be asked to make changes or stop trading.
