Refer a Crafter – Terms & Conditions

These Refer a Crafter terms apply to referrals made for Refer a Crafter at The HandCrafted Market. By taking part, you agree to the points below.

Who can be referred

• The referred crafter must be new to The HandCrafted Market.
• They must not have previously registered, traded, or held an account with us.
• Self-referrals are not allowed.

What counts as a successful referral

A referral qualifies once all of the following happen:

• The referred crafter completes the trader registration form.
• Their application is reviewed and accepted by The HandCrafted Market.
• They apply for and are approved for a market date.

Referral reward

• You receive £15 credit for each successful referral.
• Credit is applied to your trader account, not paid as cash.
• Credit can be used only towards future market bookings.
• Credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred to another trader.

How credit is applied

• Credit is added after the referred crafter is approved for a market.
• One credit is issued per referred crafter, not per market booked.
• Credit may be removed if the referred crafter’s booking is cancelled or rejected.

Limits and exclusions

• There is no limit to the number of crafters you can refer.
• Referrals that do not meet the criteria above will not qualify.
• Duplicate referrals count only for the first valid referrer.
• Abuse of the scheme may result in credits being withdrawn or accounts restricted.

Changes to the scheme

• The HandCrafted Market may amend or withdraw the Refer a Crafter scheme at any time.
• Changes apply to future referrals only.
